Hey everyone! We're excited to provide more details for the HIKIN'RIG Kickstarter campaign (for those of you who haven't checked it out yet).

Use the HIKIN’ RIG...

1. As a SHOULDER SLING to carry your snowboard hands-free

  • The hands-free carrying style allows you to more safely hike up steep slopes, walk up/down staircases

  • Save you hands for your other gear

2. As a HAND GRIP to carry your snowboard like a duffel bag

  • Quickly pick up your snowboard and get moving using the duffel bag carry

  • You no longer need to wrap your fingers around the sharp edge of your snowboard to carry it

3. As a HIDDEN LEASH when required by the ski resort

  • Quickly pull out the hidden lace-leash from the HIKIN' RIG when needed

  • Lace-leash auto-retracts back into the HIKIN' RIG when released

4. As a FOOT SLING on the ski lift

  • Gone are the days when you had to let your snowboard hang when you’re on a ski lift without a foot rest

  • Avoid having the sharp edges of your snowboard cut your laces when you rest your snowboard on your boot

5. As a STOMP PAD when skating

  • Gone are the days when your foot slips off your board when you're getting off the lift!

  • Step on the HIKIN’ RIG and watch it stretch and contact your snowboard, giving you a grippy surface to rest your foot while skating

The HIKIN' RIG was designed to be durable, easy to install, and to adjust in length! It requires NO modification to your snowboard or bindings.


Additional Details

  • High-strength strapping means the HIKIN' RIG can handle whatever you throw at it

  • Protective cover acts as a shoulder pad and protects the elastic strap

  • Quick-adjust buckle makes it quick and easy to adjust the length of the HIKIN' RIG

  • Quick-release buckle makes it easy to remove the HIKIN' RIG (as if you'd ever want to take it off!)

  • Internal elastic strap reduces the shock when you lift the snowboard and provides a snug fit around your shoulder

  • Locking d-ring acts as the securing loop for your snowboard wire lock

  • Lace leash that extends when needed and retracts automatically when released

  • Has a large extension range because of elastic material
